Praise Reports
The philosophy of CCP is to care for the whole person. That means their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Some of you will find that the newsletter and blog has too much spiritual content because your primary concern is meeting practical needs, food, clothing etc. Others are going to say that there is not enough emphasis on the spiritual. We are in search of balance, and allowing and encouraging each person to be themselves and not feel pressed into the mold of another.
When a family comes to receive food, our goal is to meet them with love and understanding. It is after they receive the resources we offer that if we ask if they would like prayer so they do not feel pressured in anyway. We share some of the results of these prayer times in our newsletter.
